Neither of those are particularly good for a wedding, but between the two, I'd recommend #2. The first is a knit tie, which is much too casual for a wedding, especially if you're also wearing a charcoal suit and black dress shoes.

If you can, however, spring for a lighter grey tie, something that contrasts to your charcoal suit, and has a small pattern, like shepards check, puppytooth, or glen plaid. Wear this with your charcoal suit, a white dress shirt, and black dress shoes. A white shirt in this case would be better since you're going to a formal event. You can throw in a white pocket square if you wish.
