I was wondering what the slimmest and lowest rise selvedge Japanese jean is. Not Japanese denim (so DH 19cms are out) and not distressed and must be selvedge.

So far I'm thinking that the Somet slim is it. Anyone else know of anything slimmer?

Skull 5010, or if you want it even lower rise than 8.5 inches then Skull Lindas.

Definitely not the somet slims. Rise is low, but they're not tight.

What's the difference between the 5010 6x6 One Wash and the 5010 One Wash (besides $20)? How much should one size down for these, and how much do they stretch?

Difference is the indigo. the 6x6 are dyed differently (better) and have a purer, deeper color.

The 6x6 are also made of heavier denim, 14.5oz, as opposed to 14oz.
They're also sanforized.

Much better indigo, and they fade very fast apparently. As far as I can tell from reports Skulls have pretty normal stretching for 100% cotton jeans.
