I have a few Cleeve / Drakes shirts in regular fit and they are a decent cut and quality.

I'm debating it. Or just put it towards their online bespoke/MTO service.

I did one bespoke also & waiting on you before pulling trigger on couple of other ties.

What did you do bespoke for? Positive experience?

drakes got bought by the armoury---> prices ^^^

It's one of my favorite brands/makers, but the diversification and price increases has me patch[1].giflurker[1].gif
post #428 of 563
There's so many other brands that make ties with the same or higher quality for cheaper. They're pricing themselves out (though most armoury customers aren't that price sensitive anyway)

Better quality for cheaper than 135 /150 /whatever drakes is charging these days.

Look at Bigi cravatte, Sam hober, Vanda, etc

MTO ties are going for $250 US at the Armoury event.

Does Bigi do bespoke? Their website is pretty bare bones and I only know NMWA that retails them.

I don't know - I know Hober and Vanda both do (capelli does too), but Bigi I'm not sure.

I'm pretty sure custom Bigi was an option at the NMWA trunk shows.

Is there a coupon code floating around for Drake's? With the weakened pound and free shipping for multi-tie orders, buying direct from Drake's can be a little less expensive than buying from The Armoury. A coupon would push me over the edge.
