It seems like lot of people have this issue, because Tres Bien didn't even ask me anything about this sneakers.

Same for me, bought at TBS as well and they proposed a refund !

Are all these ripped grey suedes from SS13? I got a pair of the faded green ones from SS13 and theyre built like tanks confused.gif i mean, its suede with a fairly thick lining...

I have those same grey ones and they seem to be holding up fine, I don't see any sign of tearing in that area. I got them from The Corner though.

On the topic of lacing: Is there a proper way to lace these in general? The last eyelet is so low down that if I don't pull them tight they feel like they are going to slip off. Are there any issues with the eyelets ripping, mine are getting stretched with just moderate pulling and I'm worried they are going to rip through.

Thanks, I guess others have had similar problems. Will email ssense.

I actually wore the shoes as they came out the box and did not really adjust the tightness except for the top and they fit comfortably so I don't think that should be an excuse for the suede ripping.

Did you guys have to pay for shipping for the return? I'm shipping internationally shog[1].gif
I would have preferred an exchange for a similar model.

TBS told me to send it back via Fedex economy.

and they will cover the shipping cost.

Does anyone have any fit pics, or know of any, with the mid Achilles?

OK so my 119 GBP CP's from eBay have arrived and I must say I'm disappointed with the condition and wonder if I should open a case. Seller said the shoes were "almost as new" and only been worn twice. He provided some pics but not detailed so I couldn't see the defects. About the defects please see the pics:

faded numbers:

funky stitching:

Indigo stains:

Don't look like something that have only been worn twice, yeah? Do you think it's worth opening a case for? Here's the listing in question: [deleted]

Maybe, I have no experience disputing on e-bay. I have shoes I've worn dozens of times that look better than various "9/10" or "worn a couple times" listings. This seems to be fairly common on SuFu. Either full of shit or both of the 2 times involved raves / long hikes through gravel pits. However, on Rakuten... a grade level B or even C is generally pretty damn good.

Faded number / funky stitching look normal even new CPs are like that. Indigo stains are kinda shown in picture. If you open case probably read ebay selling thread to make sure you have case

Also ~$200 for used shoes that was readily available on sale for $175-250? Sure 2 times in description but you can't really prove it was worn more

The stitching, faded gold label, and maybe even that mark on the top of the tongue are par for the course. The only thing is indigo stains, but with a couple minutes of patience you can clean them up as new. You hardly have a case unless he marked the item as new on ebay and said they were lightly preowned in the description. Because the description said pre-owned, the item is basically "as-is"

OK, thanks guys, I guess I'll just have to enjoy these babies icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif I didn't expect CP to produce that funky stitching though, I thought they were perfect.

I've had that on a couple pairs unfortunately, as well as on a pair of Raf Astros
