How would you pair these herringbone pants?

These pants look grey, but they're not.
They're more of a grey, olive, and cream combination.
The photo on the right is much more representative.

What sort of jacket would work with these pants?
They are highly textured herringbone, so a worsted suit jacket look may clash.
I think a tweed jacket might work, or will that look like one giant tweed suitcase on a safari?
Navy jacket? Tricky to picture that.

You mean greenish houndstooth?
Wouldn't that be too much of a similar pattern from head to toe?

I think these pants will work with a textured charcoal coat (almost black)
