Romney stayed on message and that is all that matters. Obama has no narrative as was proven in this debate. Or the narrative of "4 more years of the same" if you think it is a narrative.

I think you sound like the shill here. If you look back at my previous posts, I commented Romney won debate 1.

I think the narrative that was move obvious to me was that Romney has this tax plan but never says how he plans to pay for it. Its either because its a lie, or because he plans to cut something that will piss most of us off like the mortgage deduction.

Regarding more of the same... I would prefer more of the same from Obama than more of the same from Bush now Romney.

Given the questions that were chosen and the moderating, Obama should have slam dunked this, and it was probably a tie, or possibly an ever so slight victory for Obama.

Absolutely and you'd be a fool to not think the election is close.

Obama won this debate as clearly as he lost the first. The fact that many in this thread can't see that is indicative of our current political climate. The anti-Obama sentiment on the right is so strong that they are incapable of seeing anything he does objectively.

Obama won slightly, which was sufficient to stop the bleeding, which means he won big.

This thread bears out my judgement right after the debate finished. Pretty much a draw, slight nod to Obama, 90% of the partisans are going to say their guy had a clear win. It is nice to see even Dems admitting the moderation bias.

This is an excellent point. She tee'ed one up for Obama so perfectly it was laughable. Don't forget to mention probably half of those "undecided voters" had to remove their Obama/Biden pins before the cameras started rolling.

This is not to excuse Romney's showing. It was a draw until he allowed Obama to look good over the embassy murders. Romney should have buried Obama on that.

Wow. Just wow. Crowley even admitted her correction was incorrect? And yeah, the moderator fact checking in real time? Romney did not win this all on his own, as I really think he should have beat both Obama and the moderator, but this should have all the local journalists hanging their heads and ceasing to tell me my views on the media bias are not without foundation.

I think Mord has to hand over his title. Crowley = immoderator.

On CNN after the debate, Crowley said her comment "was the natural thing that came out of me."

This game of who won/who lost all seems very silly to me.
