Calvin Klein Collection on GIlt. Good Buy?

Hi Everyone

I'm new to the forum, so apologies if this is in the wrong section.

I needed a suit and purchased a Calvin Klein Collection suit on GIlt for $499. I have no idea how good of a deal this is, but luckily its fully refundable. It's scheduled to arrive today. What do I need to know? Did I overpay?

I'm not an expert, but I think you'd want to look at the shoulder fit first, it's got to be right there. You can post pictures here and people will give you feedback. If it fits nice/looks nice, then I don't think 5 bills is a bad price to pay for a suit (I assume it's 100% wool?).

However, you can get a made to measure ("MTM") suit for about that price. thickasthievesla.com is one such place, and gets good reviews around here. I think their suits have full canvass construction too. Not sure about whether your CK is fully canvassed, although I do own a CK suit that I think fits well/looks nice.

CK Collection is generally good stuff. Was the suit listed as "Made in Italy" or "imported"?

You may have to get the fit perfected at a tailor.
