How much should I taper my pants? - Page 2

It looks tight and that's why the pockets are the way they are. Tapering is the least of your issues.

Here is a repost of me in the same pants. For the last pic I was sitting down and didn't fix up my pants before taking the pic.The pants are not tight because I can easily fit my hands in through the waist

The pants are to tight, the pockets are bowing open, they should lie flat. They are two small at the hips, has nothing to do with your waist.

The cut does not fit you.

The pockets are flaring out, even in the above pictures, so the pants are too tight up top. That doesn't necessarily mean it's a problem with the waist. In my opinion, the waist looks fine; it's the seat that you need to let out. Once you've done that, you can thin about tapering them more at the bottom, but I think that would be unnecessary... they seem to fall quite nicely as it is.

i just found by "macys" kenneth cole reaction dress pants tapered (the design is tapered so you save money like that) for only $40 each (a little expensive but they prob wuldnt need fixing) they had black and grey (which is a little dark-ish like in your pic) they look and fit very nice and kenneth cole is a great company so i was surprised to find it for so cheap!!! (macys online i couldnt find it.... maybe it doesnt say tapered on the site  but maybe you can have a live chat or call them up on macys.com)
