Best Books on Mens Clothing?

Thread Starter

So I was hoping to get more reading material, coffee table books whatever that offer substance and real insight into men's clothing. I did a quick search and didn't see any threads specifically about this so apologies if it is a recurring thread.

So far I have:

1. Gentleman: a Timless Guide to Fashion

2. The Sartortialist

3. Esquire the Handbook of Style: A Man's Guide to Looking Good (Gifted to me)

4. Dressing the Man: Mastering the Art of Permanent Fashion

5. Bespoke: The Men's Style of Savile Row

6. Clothes and the Man: The Principles of Fine Men's Dress

7. The Sartorialist: Closer

8. Style and the Man: How and Where to Buy Fine Men's Clothes

9. A Gentleman's Wardrobe

So what recommendations do you have? I'm not really looking for books that focus on a particular designer such as the Ralph Lauren or Tom Ford book or fashion houses like Zegna or Gucci.

Edited: to reflect my current library

I am sure there are many but...

The Suit

I don't know if you can still find it but I found a pdf of Flusser's book on-line.

Go buy different types of men's magazines in fashion, and try to get the inspirations from them

you can find your own style later then

I know this is an old thread, but how was the Sartortialist? I'm intrigued by the description of the book.

The two books by the Sartorialist are good but offer no commentary, they're just visuals of "street style." I like them because they help me imagine different ways to pair things, something I wouldn't have thought of etc. but there are more visual candy than sartorial knowledge.
