Adriano Goldschmied Denim? - Page 3

As a response to my own question, I called the outlets and they were all very nice about checking stock and being willing to mail. Only found 1 pair and not even quite what I wanted from all 4 outlets, but it was still worth the try, especially because the prices are only $80-90.

Suck it up and buy it at Bloomies or something Denim Might be on sale. The jeans are good. Their 8oz pima cotton is perfect for shit days like we have been having this summer.

I know most around here dislike prewashed denim, but the washes an AG's are not as "out there" as most.

I used to work at a place that sold AG women's jeans, I just kind of mentally filed them with all the other tacky overpriced denim. I mean, if you're looking for something that's as bland and safe as possible, sure, a pair of AGs would go great with your Theory military blazer and JCrew buttondown and Prada sneakers.

You just described stylin westinghouse!

Only jeans I'm able to stand in the 110 degree heat. So, I agree, the lightweight cotton is a plus in certain circumstances.

Just kopped a pair of the Protege Slim Straights 5yr wash. $74 bucks from Nords Rack....honestly the cut is nice. Great for a medium to large frame guy. They wash is really nice (not to extreme) and the fit again is awesome. Not bad for the price IMO!!

Two Marshall's in my area have had a lot of AG jeans recently. Not on clearance yet, but $99.95 or whatever it is just under $100. Maybe a dozen hanging at the store near my office right now.

Don't know enough about them to say much, but these are all made in the US, for whatever that means.

Yeah, the Marshall's near me now has some Diesel, 7 FAM, and Rock & Republic. High Class!

Where are you two located that the Marshall's had them?

I'm in Connecticut

I'm in Charlotte NC.

But in reply to comment above about 7 FAM and R&R, I've picked up six pair of RRL US made /Japanese selvedge denim, one pair (I'm wearing right now) RRL made in Japan, and several Earenst Sewn's at the Marshall's around here over the last couple of years (thanks to SF for alerts on these).

For whatever reason, they get pretty good denim in in small batches a few times a year. Nothing really exotic, but pretty nice stuff for which I've never paid more than $49.99.
