Hi all, am from Singapore and am planning to make my way down to Paris couple of months from now for a vacation and I was wondering what is the price of the demesure and club shoes that are sold in Paris. I have attached a picture of the shoes that I am planning to purchase and was hoping if any of you kind souls there could help me out pls. Thanks!

Regards

gosh this is embarrassing. The maker of the shoes is Berluti. The brown one is supposedly the club range and the black one is the demesure range. Sorry about it folks.

Hello there fellow sinkie! I can't really help you with the pricing in Paris but over here in NYC its about $1700 USD. Im assuming in paris there won't be that much of a difference but you could probably save on the VAT (if they have that there). I think the demesure one is a bit more expensive right? its the one with the metal "Berluti" hammered in with nails on the sole if I'm not mistaken. Are the prices in ngee ann city that much more expensive? Last time i checked they were about the same but that was when it was 1.6 sg dollars to USD.

if the price is right (1700 USD) these shoes are not worth such money.

there are lots of shoes with more quality and less price.

The Hong Kong shop is selling both shoes at HKD17000-18000 level, tried on and frankly not worth the money, the tattoo stuff is interesting but just too expensive, maybe later.

give a call to their Champselysee store, i suspect 1200EUR (incl. VAT) for the Demesure Alessandro's...

btw they're 195,000 JPY here in Japan (about 2480 USD) icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Thank you folks for your replies! The ones in SG cost $2990 for the demesure and for the club it cost SGD $2960. The exchange rate now for USD-SGD is USD $1- SGD $1.22 i think and as for Euro, its about 1.55 SGD to the 1 Euro. If its $1700 USD or $1200 Euro, the savings would be immense!

You guys did mention about other shoes that are just as good and cheaper, i was hoping if you could name those brands and I could do some research on the internet and see if they have stores in Singapore and probably pop by and see what they have. Your comments are most helpful. Thank you all for taking the time to read this post.

Depends on what you mean by "good". On most objective measures of quality, RTW Berlutis are overpriced. For Euro 1200, Plenty of other choices.
