Good point. They should really be doing something more constructive with their time. Maybe they could destroy a rival's cherished landmark. Or perhaps they could head to the local Krystal and teabag someone. Or, if they want to actually contribute to the team, they could award the Dawgs retroactive and/or non-consensus MNCs.

Please don't do anything to harm yourself when Alabama wins the SEC championship this afternoon.

FSU will not be in the ACC for long. I give it two years at most. They've never had a good relationship.

adsmith4, this thread as well as the football threads before used to be refreshingly different from the usual college football forums - until you came along. Now, if your douchebag attitude persists and spreads we will having nothing but one of hundreds of typical football discussions that are populated by mouthbreathers who constantly degrade any sober discussion with you cockiness, homerism, and pot-shots at other teams.

I had to get a cavity filled the other day, and the dentist spent most of the time talking about the game and asking questions about it that i could answer with "yes/no" grunts. His last words to me when I left the chair? "Go Dawgs!"
I was at PT this morning, and the whole time was spent talking football with my therapist. As I was leaving, he said, "well, let's hope they can win one for us this weekend."
All of my coworkers are talking about it. I think I've talked as much football as work this week. We had our holiday luncheon at work today, and our director spent a few minutes expressing his appreciation for our work during the year. He then ended his talk with a comment on how much he hopes good stuff happens tomorrow afternoon.
I know it's kind of lame, but it's really a lot of fun. Plus, it's a cool sense of community to have pretty much everyone you talk to discussing the same event.

The same with Bloomington and Indianapolis this time of year, especially this year.

Haven't heard this. This would not be good news for the Big 10.

I think it's a matter of time before the original 10 schools start considering other conference options. It would be hard to leave BiG because of revenue sharing, the BiG tv network revenue, and the strong academic collaboration, but with the right price offered by another conference it's not inconceivable.

SEC Championship Game is as good as advertised. I'm nervous and I don't even have a rooting interest.

If nobody hears from me again, it's because I had a Dawg-related heart attack and died.

Agreed. Regardless of whether or not my team wins, this has been a phenomenal football game.

+1. What just happened here? Shouldn't have ended this way.

Such a frustrating end. Great game, though.
