Ha ha yeah I'm happy and all but I really want to lose these extra pounds to get to a nice weight.

On a different note anyone got suggestions on upper back exercises?
Cause I have no muscle and my back looks just like solid flesh, I ain't liking it one bit.

Thanks for the replys really insightful and helpful.

agreed. unless you're a wrestler or boxer, enjoy your accomplishment. you've lost 25% of your body weight which is amazing.

Run less and make it HIIT when you do, lift heavier and eat more. Long periods of caloric deficit slow down your metabolism. So slowly increasing caloric intake while structuring your exercise to make it more metabolically stimulation should help you break through.

I lost 40 pounds (180 to 140) over a 5 day stretch without breaking a sweat.

I was in the hospital for that amount of time after major surgery so get some kind of ailment where they need to change an organ or two and you'll be good to go.

I think changing up your diet or exercise routine may help but eating more and lifting heavier will likely put on muscle mass not decrease weight in my experience. You may just want to vary your diet with the same caloric intake to all protein and increase your cardio a bit while adding high rep low weight or body weight exercises.

is this humanly possible? did they do lipo while they were at it? if you calculate the energy in 40 pounds of fat, it straight up isnt possible to burn that much! although im not in med school yet so i cant say definitively.

to the op: i skip meals. if i feel like losing weight that week, i'll eat a granola bar strategically placed in between breakfast and lunch. i'll eat whatever i want for dinner as long as it doesnt add up to more than 700 calories. i loose 6-8 pounds easy that week.

i guess its pretty easy to slip in this "diet" and hence it is probably not for all. if you dont slip though, you are golden. the less you eat too, the more your body gets used to it. i used to eat alot and decided one day i didnt like the way clothes fit on me. i stopped eating so much and lost about 15 pounds from 140 lbs.

I don't have to see you to know that you're skinny fat and don't have any muscle what-so-ever. Crappy position to be in. Don't recommend it to anyone else. (When losing weight muscle goes first, unless you accompany it by exercise and proper protein/caloric intake. In your diet that doesn't happen, therefore most of what's left is fat... even if you don't look fat, you've got an extremely high percentage of body fat. And if you're past that stage, then well... I won't even go there.)

Okay I've been noticing I have like I guees it would be in the class of extra skin? in my abdominal area and elsewwhere where I lost fat. So my question is will it contract and tighten up or will it just hang until I got to Hollywood for a Cosmetic Makeover!!!
Don't expect it to tighten on its own. However, technology is now making it possible to shrink skin non-surgically. For example, there is Body Thermage. The cost possibly will go down and availability eventually will be widespread.

As a side note, it's worth wondering whether some people yo-yo in weight because they dislike being heavy but then loss motivation when they become slim and deconditioned with excess skin.

Running fatigues muscle groups like lifting weights does. People who enjoy (or, maybe, are addicted to) lengthy daily runs therefore are likely to perform inconsistently. Consistent sleep will help, though. It also will help with weight loss in general. Adding green tea to the diet could also help get rid of a few stubborn pounds.

Jesus F'ing Christ. Or you could just accept that your body is your body, and if you're in good shape in terms of overall body weight, fat content, strength & conditioning, etc., you should be happy instead of worrying about whether your skin is of uniform tautness in all parts of your body.

Others notice loose skin. For example, most young men are quite repulsed by loose skin in women, and people who have lost a lot of weight can have pounds of loose skin, no matter how fit they are. There are ways to hide loose skin in places such as the arms and stomach (which usually is shown in swim areas, at least). However, people shouldn't have to do that at the expense of physical comfort or dressing far from the norm.

Okay about the Thermage suggestion. Lets get real it says a price of 3500 to 4500$. Thats not to affordable by my standards.
