I have no idea what the fuck is going on in this thread today.

Also: it is going to be 90 degrees in NYC tomorrow.

It is surprisingly difficult to get a slice of nyc pizza in nyc.

Every other place is "crap for tourists" or "nothing like it used to be" or "dollar slices are ruining new york pizza" or is simply a place serving another regional style and thus not new york pizza by definition.

I mean, you can still get a slice of pizza and it will taste good--certainly better than the abysmal by the slice options in most cities--but at least 5 people will probably tell you that you did something wrong.

It is almost 9 and I am still in the office...I think this trip has finally given me the full NYC experience.

I left the office at 6, due to an appointment, but I'm still working at home now. At least I have the ball game on while I work.

Welcome to one of the many reasons why NYC sucks!

I like NY Pizza Suprema near MSG for a solid NYC style slice. Sauce is just a touch sweeter than I like, so I add a bit of crushed red pepper to balance.

LOL. Almost certainly. In the UK, there is a chain called Byron's that is based on this exact premise. It's pretty successful, too.

I woke up at 7 AM on Saturday, but slept in until 10 AM on Sunday. It was amazing.

1) That's not real Mexican food.

2) I noticed. I will complain mightily tomorrow.

noodles are damn good.

In Flushing or midtown, I have only been to the midtown location, noodle itself is decent, but the meat what not all seems big mediocrity to me.

They had another location in Chinatown which has since closed. It was the better than the one on Bayard. They made the food right in front of you(I have not been to any locations other than these 2) vs having your food come up vis the dumbwaiter. No clue if they are pre-made to any extent. Good..but not as good as the shop that closed.

Disgustingly humid. Also pissed I have to ride the subway to midtown today.

later on will be annoyingly hot, but right now it's pretty much perfect out. Weather Channel says it's in the upper 60's, but more importantly the "feels like" temperature is also in the upper 60's.

IMO the foreceast should always be a "feels like" temperature. Much more accurate from a human perspective.

They should just show the Dew Point. When above 50 they should just say, "you're fucked".
