Reasons why New York Sucks - Page 644

When I settle at my desk I am fine, but the occlusive, crowded train, plus the walk in I guess keeps me warm. I also, for whatever reason have this immense anxiety about getting into the office. There's absolutely no reason for it, but I feel this pressure like If I don't get in I will be in big trouble. Mind you, I am one of the first people in daily and if I walked in at 10:30am nobody would even make a stink about it.

You are a complicated dude, pB.

Perhaps you are walking too fast? My commute is a one mile walk everyday, so sweating is inevitable. I've learned to live with it and be happy when I walk in with minimal amount of sweat.

just walked around Battery Park (question: how is Battery Park 50% Goldman employees and 50% millenials in t-shirts ... I get the former, but what's the deal with the lattter??) for about 45 minutes total. A little cooler out than yesterday. Didn't break out into a sweat but can confirm that it's beautiful out by the water.

also when did Battery Park change so much? Seems like there's actually nice stuff to do around there.

@patrickBOOTH You might want to get some thyroid studies done.

I think my metabolism is slow if anything. I gain weight like a woman.

I'm the same with regards to sweat on the morning commute regardless of the outside temperature. I need to tell myself to slow down and not walk so fast.

waited 30 minutes for an E. Three Ms in a row. No E. Finally gave up. MTA of course keeps the fare.

What a disaster this system is. Just embarassing.

weather is already awful. Misery until October 15. Then two decent weeks before the snow.

I'm indifferent to whether or not government or non-profit agencies have air conditioning.

he's old though, and that's a way better card to play than whiney but complicated millennial hipster.
