Put a sign on your door, in Spanish, that says "if you knock on this door before 9 am you will be killed".

Huh? I just gave you some gentle ribbing.

I agree wholeheartedly that anyone who knocks on my door 6:15 a.m. to solicit work—weekday or weekend, citizen or alien—has utterly misjudged his market. Whatever appreciation I might have for the work ethic is outweighed by the violation. I even sympathize with your point about enforcing the law. I suspect we disagree about the appropriate targets for enforcement, though.

Yesterday was a nice reminder that I am indeed an active person when it's not 10 degrees outside.

I didn't do shit yesterday. I sorely regret that with the cold weather coming back again...

yeah man, it was great out. Put on a sweatshirt and basic gym pants and jogged for 2 miles with the dog and the wife. Then went to this little knick knack design store we like (small business owned by these 2 guys who have good and humorous taste) that's at the far limits of Williamsburg at the water.

ok, so the jog was kind of lame with the slush puddle bombs, but it was great to get back out and just do something outside. I'm over winter.

also ran into Booth on the sidewalk, which didn't really feel like catch up, just "you're alive?" "yep"

No, I don't want you to shovel my walk, I will take care of it. Go away and don't disturb my family. In America, we tend to sleep until at least 7 am on weekends.

This post is much funnier if you picture them wearing bee costumes.

Is that a Simpsons reference?

This cold sucks. I don't even want to walk the 4 blocks to the gym in this kind of weather.

I honestly like this weather, but I don't think any of you are walking a mile everyday so you don't get too hot.

You try taking the L tonight. I did indeed walk nearly a mile, plus an extra 10 minutes on an outdoor subway platform waiting for an M train.

wife is taking a cab because she can't be bothered.
