Reasons why New York Sucks - Page 491

if we've had a better day weather-wise this year, then I must have been out of town.
Still too hot. High of 60 is what I like. Also, overcast with a 0% chance of rain.
it's not too hot, you're just too much of a prick
post #7354 of 11466
I don't see the relationship between the weather and being a prick.
the relationship is if it was 60, overcast, 1% humidity, and 0% chance of rain, you'd still be a prick and call out that 1% humidity.

Well, I have resorted to only looking at dew point because it isn't dependent on the current temperature like humidity is. Humidity is very misleading. Dew Point over 58 sucks. Over 65 is like the 7th layer of hell. Over 70 is Satan himself.

Sun is setting and the temps are absolutely perfect out. Lovely day for me.

This weekend will be warm, but nothing some shorts and a polo can't deal with.

In my job as a yoot I worked in an automotive machine shop, building race car engines and so forth. Loved the place, but the owner insisted on listening to a radio station called 'The Hawk' which seemed to have a rotation of about 20 songs and one of them was Maggie May. It seemed like Guantanamo level torture after some time.

My wife thinks it's very strange that I sing along to an incredible amount of songs that I claim to hate. It's due to my Pavlov style conditioning.

For whatever reason, the shop where I worked didn't play music when I got there. I couldn't get by without it, so I brought in a CD boombox. The guy on the lift next to mine was the only one who seemed to care much about what I played, but we had lots of overlap in our musical taste.

I did not play a lot of classic rock, but we did enjoy listening to the Ten at 10.
