i used to take that route all the time when I lived in Williamsburg. you take Conduit Blvd/Ave then cut through Highland Park in queens/or Jackie Robinson Parkway.
I've gotten from Williamsburg to the Long Term Parking at JFK in less than 20min using that route.
but now, going home to Connecticut I get stuck in those construction areas either way (straight to 95 or through whitestone bridge) and its a clusterfuck.
Weirdly though going from CT to JFK its less than an hour so not that much of a difference from before.
