don't forget tornadoes and sometimes large hail in brooklyn and queens... in the middle of motherfucking summer (july/august).

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
i have the hail damage on my car to prove it. also I frantically shoveled the 1" hail spheres from my neighbors porches/steps because most had pregnant wives and/or elderly parents. But the hail disappeared within 10min of the smoldering summer heat and rendered my work moot.

I tend to avoid any place where they give you a pencil and piece of paper to check off what you want on it. I don't know, meatball shop is like warm up lean cuisine to me.

i think EMP does that

Endless breadsticks?

pencil and paper. their bread basket is probably endless though, assuming one asks.

Really? I can't count the number of both Chinese and sushi joints where you either tick off what you want or get a blank piece of paper and write down the time number. I'm talking a sample universe from across southern Ontario (including GTA) to Seattle.

IME, high-end sushi joints never have a check-off menu. I've only come across those in the low-to-mid tier of sushi spots.

I'm personally terrified of low-end sushi.

even in the lowest of the low that i can think of ($1/piece), still no check off menu.

had the dollar sushi for lunch on Saturday in fact. it worked.
