the more people I meet here and the more events that I attend (most at the urging of my wife), the less I think that the "filthy rich" part is true.

Why doe poeple call people filthy rich. If you see everything like that then your filthy poor. My 2 cents.

You made me look up the origin of "filthy rich". Very interesting.

Disgusting out there, as well.

For some reason, my office building didn't have enough rugs and stuff out, so the lobby was super slick. I slipped and whacked my knee against the corner of the elevator door. Hurts like hell.

Of course, when I slipped, my first thought was that I was about to destroy my brand new pents I am wearing for the first time today. Thankfully, I did not.

Hell of a day to wear brand new pents. Probably a soggy mess now.

Yeah, in hindsight, not a good call. I was just excited to wear them for the first time.

Looking forward to all this rain and snow melt to freeze up overnight...

between yesterday afternoon and this morning, a ton of snow melted away.

this means that the subway station floors are covered with brown mess that is super slippery.

When did broken-down cardboard boxes become the preferred flooring material of anybody outside Nicaragua?

Drinks weren't special. I don't like the layout. Service was poor. Its weird how no one can interact with a bartender. Higher a machine.

Attaboy isn't too far.
