To be fair, most of that was about Goldman and to a lesser extent JPM Chase.
To the extent blatant "racism, sexism, bigotry, and general alpha one upmanship" are present, they are more than likely self-sware jabs at entrenched cliches. Late at night, male analysts and associates might crack jokes about sex and women, but my impression has never been it is meant in earnest, and it is not the same as substantively treating female co-workers poorly.
Afterall, most of the big investments banks have a ton of women on the floor, even if not so much at the senior level.
