To be fair, most of that was about Goldman and to a lesser extent JPM Chase.

This view is typical of those outside the industry, who have been taught by the clueless idiots in the media/Washington that we're all evil souless greedy bastards.

More so than in the population at large, but I'd bet >50% voted for BO.

Nonsense. This might have been true in the stone age.

Yes, but more-so in some functions than others.

I don't get it ("to be fair"), do you perceive these as the most evil? Both run by democrats bigtime.

I work in Rock Center, this time of year, and every time there are parades it is terrible.

people need to learn how to use umbrellas in public. this way, I get stabbed in the face less.

the first rule should probably be only use the umbrella when it's raining. Just because it's wet and foggy out does not mean it's actually raining. Put the damn umbrella away.

As a glasses person even that mistiness can rather annoying on lenses, plus the foggy mist makes my hair crazy-er.

And Gome today as I closed my umbrella while walking down into the subway pouring water all over everybody coming up I thought of you and laughed maniacally.

i wear glasses most of the time too, but the umbrella doesn't do much in the fog. If anything, the slight film of water helps to clean them.
The way I see it is that if it is a bit misty, or foggy, I mean I am holding the umbrella anyway, right? Might as well keep what I can off my face and suit shoulders and open it anyway.
It takes a lot for me to carry an umbrella. Usually just overcoat/raincoat and a hat are enough.

To clarify, that was from a dozen different people who work/worked at both banks. I don't really care one way or another what their corporate cultures are.

I just wanted to be fair to the other banks as I have not heard any accounts of such behavior, not to say that it doesn't exist.
