We are not talking about the same thing.  I'm referring to the rambunctious kids who breakdance inside the subway car doing parkour shit on the poles and handles.   It takes them 3 seconds to get going and the show lasts one station ride.

I kinda like them - it's entertainment

I do.   And I don't like all subway car entertainers - actually dislike almost all from the old accapella dudes to the awful accordion dudes.  But I really do enjoy watching these kids do their thing.  Sue me!

well i'm not going to sue you considering I just bought more stuff from your site. Some of these "dancers" were on my train this morning, so I thought of this thread. I was nearly punted in the face with one of their shoes. I don't like that.

I had to go to Jersey City, and upon arrival there I was approached by 3 hecklers. 2 hobos and 1 black guy that wanted me to buy his rap CD. He didn't tell me to smile because it "won't mess up my hair" a la the cappella dudes.

I used to always seem to be on the N train, and sometimes the 1 train when the same normal looking black man in his 40's would break out yelling a "I HATE THE JEWS" rant. It would be random times too (slow saturday noon at Prince St station, or busy weekday afternoon at 6th avenue from the L train transfer). The motherfucker was sly too, he'd discretely board then wait until the train doors closed and moving before yelling.

Now the MTA is killing people? This is serious. Those people need all to be fired. It's not funny any more. This is twice in one year. Incompetent, malicious hacks.

Take the leadership, tie them to posts in front of Grand Central, scourge and behead. Thank you, Livy, for the inspiration.

But no, everyone will get their pensions. Fares will go up. Then they will add a new "safety tax." The investigation will be a whitewash.

It's time to move. I'm not afraid of terrorists. It's the people who run the trains who will kill me.

Four people DEAD! None of these hacks will get fired or even disciplined. They have blood on their hands. I thought I hated the MTA before, but I really despise them now.

KILLERS!!!!!!

Wow, this is the second major MTA accident this year. Unforgivable.

and my first though isn't even "oh man those poor families who lost somebody" but rather "can't wait to see how much they have to fuck up my line everyday in order to pay for their mess". but really, what a tragedy for those who lost somebody or were seriously injured.

Same. Do not like subway "entertainment". Maybe I'm just crotchety.

Thought the exact same thing. Cannot tell if this means I am a cold-hearted bastard, or just have zero faith in the MTA.

How do you handle it when friends come in the city and want to meet up with you and do "Central Park, Times Square, Empire State Building, Freedom Tower, and maybe take the ferry?"

Think I'm just meeting them for lunch somewhere and then letting them go on their merry way.
