As someone who isn't yet 25, I support that.

Why? You aren't man enough to decide for yourself whether to drink or not? You like being treated like a giant child?

I support that, at least in some neighborhoods. There's enough to hate about New York without drunk 22-year olds trying to cling to their frat-star days.

Brandy Library (and probably others) have had a 25+ policy for years.  I never saw anyone who dressed and acted like an adult turned away.

I guess it's an issue all of the sudden because this is a dive bar in brooklyn?

I don't like drinking around a bunch of idiot 21 year olds. Considering I haven't really been ID'ed since I was 18, I doubt most bars with that policy would actually turn me away.

The wind yesterday was brutal. Really felt like winter.

the best part about the cold is that people don't ride motorcycles when it's 30 degrees out.

I saw 3 this morning on my way in and my car said it was only 22 degrees

I ride in the cold. I have heated gloves. I won't ride in the snow though.

Eleven Madison Park was fantastic. Thanks to all who recommended. Probably my best fine dining experience in NYC.

EMP seems to be a love-it-or-hate-it kind of place. I know my wife and I were in the latter camp, unfortunately.
