Beverly Hills is like the enchanted forest. They have some of the best trees there.

I cut through the residential streets near Santa Monica Blvd. on my way to work. Even down there it's stunning.

the MTA is pretty awful, as Manton pointed out, but I really enjoy not having to drive to work.

the public transportation system here is one of the best things about new York, by which I mean, its existence, but the state of maintenance is atrocious. Also, they are definietly not air conditioning the cars like they used to. Cost cutting no doubt. Gotta keep letting people retire with full pension and benefits after 20 years, so save money by screwing the customer!

the term metroplex does not exist here but the metro area is huge, I don't even know how it is defined but it must be at least 100 miles across.
