Reasons why New York Sucks - Page 20

Fashion night out. Ugh. Any excuse for all the clowns and kids to feel entitled to be totally insufferable, disturbingly loud douchebags. Not to mention outfits scarier than Halloween.... facepalm.gif

Huh, I see more gorgeous women in Soho in one afternoon than I would over a month in L.A. (And over a lifetime in Philly, of course.)

Different strokes, I guess.

That's because when you come to L.A. for a month you're in the North Valley. Sorry, but Manton is right. Half the "hot" women in NYC are just fashionable.

Breasts not large enough?

Midtown is kind of funny. I am mostly inside all day, but I have to walk to and from the train and I go out for lunch. The lunch place I go to draws a heavily 20-something crowd with lots of career wenches. Most days, I see no one I consider attractive. Then every couple of days I see one or two. Every couple of weeks, it's like the place is packed with them.

Ditto in the walk to the train, it's feast or famine with the feasts far more infrequent.

I think you're missing the point entirely. Soho on weekends is like disneyland - the people you see there are not the Soho crowd, they're everyone from the 5 boroughs + B&T walking around to play with ipads at the apple store and buy new sneakers at David Z... You need to walk around soho on a tuesday afternoon to see the beautiful people

Hey man, I haven't been to the north Valley in a decade.

Damn, I miss the downtown office. Bad day? Take a quick walk north and observe.

Let me tell you, gardening for a couple of months means a lot of those walks...
