I may have posted this in unexpected encounters way back when, but just past the firehouse is a strangely-located delux bldg (american felt?
) where katie holmes rented during her broadway engagement back when tomkat was just finishing up. whenever i stopped in everyman on the way home there'd be a huge phalanx of paparazzi set up waiting, and then a mini-motorcade of back suvs would pull up & this tiny girl would get out & rush into the bldg - what an awful f#cking life. would see them (tomkat) in that pizza-by-the-yard place on 4th next to alabaster books

yes, the firefighters get hungry! it's not so bad when they stop for grocery shopping at a supermkt, but when they swoop into a smaller place they really take over - they can sometimes be a little goodfellas-like w/ their sense of entitlement - doesn't matter what was going on when they got there, once they're there it's "take care of us"
