DD coffee sucks. The only people who swear by it are the people who only ever had street cart coffee in the past.

Just think of the millions who drank Maxwell House/Folgers/etc canned coffee for decades without complaint.

It is funny, my parents used to until I started buying Gimme Coffee and then they converted and hate me because they spend 10x as much on coffee now.

I like my $13.99/lb organic coffees. And I hand-grind with a burr grinder and then French press. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

i buy iced coffee from The Coffee Bean because I'm a sucker for the tiny ice cubes they use. Coffee is no good otherwise.

at home I drink kirkland decaf from a 3 pound can. pre-ground, of course.

Kirkland is actually pretty good coffee, better than maxwell and the like. A girl I dated's father used to brew it. He always ground his fresh though.

You suburbanites and your cars.

DD is pretty terrible. I used to drink it when I was on a client out in Jersey with terrible office coffee and no other options around. Was so glad when I finished that engagement.

Everything about this makes you sound like a prostitute.

i think its because of the iced coffee. i think i read that iced coffee has now surpassed regular hot coffee as the caffeine vehicle of choice of the north east - even in the dead of winter. D&D has those machines and staff to produce specific orders of iced coffee so fast.

I go to DD semi regularly to get hot lattes for my girlfriend. Multiple times they have made iced ones and when they don't screw up they will still ask me to clarify if I want iced as if that was the default. This is in the Chicago suburbs. It must be popular.
