Pie over cake, yes. And the pies I was talking about are not on the 'overly sweet dessert' menu. Apples and oranges, folks. They are masterly renditions that are not comparable to regular pies. People taste these and eagerly renounce their pie-hating ways. Those suffering from pie ambivalence knock themselves over in a desperate rush to go over to the pie-side.
