but shortly after that, I won't be.

update: Williamsburg is very nice and I had a great time and ate well. Too bad the hipsters there are insufferable, they are everywhere.

also, a reason why New York sucks: lack of great street food.

We've had great weather most of this year. I walk to work every day and only 3 or 4 times have I been soaked from rain and maybe half a dozen times been so miserable from heat/humidity that I was unhappy about it. Not too bad if you think about it.

Many claim that the motherload is in Williamsburg.... but Bushwick has supplanted it in the number of pure hipsters.

Williamsburg has mostly people that mearly dress like hipsters... but upon scratching the surface turn out to be normal people who often are married with children with adequate jobs.

But the down trodden/bed bugged matress-ed/fixie riding because its cheap hipsters have moved further down to bushwick.

I think the hipster issue is the social problem of the next decade.

hipsters are harmless.... its the huge projects that flank all 3 sides of williamsburg, are interlaced thoughout bushwick, and flank clinton hill/park slope that are going to be the real social problem of NYC in the next decade.

they projected it to happen sooner (a bit of a class war in the areas where there are million dollar condos/townhouses/carriage houses/brownstones that literally face the monolith projects across the streets) but there has been surprising lack of violence (especially in the clinton hill areas).

another reason why NYC sucks:

multi-million dollar condos/townhouses/brownstones/ect that face huge projects buildings.

I was being facetious.

I don't know Williamsburg in the least but that's an interesting bit of zoning/development there.
