That sort of reminds me. Is anyone at all familiar with this place? It's Damon Baehrel's restaurant upstate.

yeah, I went at 3 PM today to get a chicken sandwich (thanks StyleForvm!), and it was 30 minutes from desk to sandwich.

the new Fulton Street location is already swamped with tourists who struggle to choose from the menu of burger, or hot dog, or chicken.

Anyone have a recommendation for an Italian restaurant open past 10? Midtown-ish or below would be great.

Carbone? I know when I tried to book a reso there for next week the only times they had were 1030 and 11pm.

a good time, is it?

my shake shack revelation was ordering the smoke shack with a single patty instead of double. usually sacrilege, but there is a fair amount of grease involved, especially with the extra cheese i found it too much.

The city is so condensed that it's hard to stay separated from the collective consciousness. You really change how you feel, opinions habits etc. when you live in NY for more than a few years. More so than other places I feel.

I've never been to Shake Shack.

I'm sitting on Steinway Ave in Astoria waiting for my truck. Cool neighborhood if you like hookah bars.
