Meh, shouldn't be bad over the Williamsburg bridge in the morning. I've done it when I had to with success.

Was in B&N USQ for the first time in over a year (maybe more) yesterday. Patti Smith was appearing later that evening to promote her new book and people were claiming seats well over 3 hours in advance! crazy.gif 3:30 and most were taken (she was reading @ 7). You could not even go in the seating area unless you had purchased a book eh.gif There was a roadie/tech crew who were going through a sound check ("test, test, 1, 2, 3, test") for all the microphones (there was more than one!)

My raw denim wouldn't have gotten so much wear, and, consequently, wouldn't look so amazing, had I not worked at a startup for a year.

I would just like to point out that trying to find an apartment share sucks fucking ass.

I'm visiting NYC for the first later this week (14th-21st). Gonna see the Statute of Liberty, probably go to the Guggenheim and Moma, see a play or two, but what else less obvious/touristy should I try to do? I feel like recommendations from locals are generally the  best.
