Most reclusive threads on styleforum - Page 2

Pretty much any part of this place outside of the actual style sections of the forum (MC, SW&D and B&S) feels like another country to me (even here in GC). I had a look in Dumb Threads once: it was like a Nineteenth-Century lunatic asylum. Yet it seems there are people who have the time to waste to actually post in there on a regular basis. That's just... odd.

Why does it seem that every forum on the internet has some kind of variation of 'Dumb threads' where the 'inner circle' hang out?

It's like high school where all the cool kids hang out behind the parking lot to smoke and drink. 

The Australian thread, they rarely seem to venture outside of that one thread. I wonder why?
