Flannel Trousers...where to buy?

Afternoon all.

The one item for fall that i've decided I clearly need to add to my wardrobe is a pair of flannel trousers in a light grey.

I like the brooks brothers milano option, but wondering if you had any other options to look at in the same price range say ($150 to $250).

Looking for a fairly slim fit, lower rise (but not ridiculous), flat front.

thanks

What size are you? I have a pair of HY used light grey flannels in size 30 (31" waist).

I'm more like a 34 unfortunately.

I didn't see any on HY's site in light grey

HY should be adding some of their fall/winter line in not too long. They have an affiliate thread. I don't know how low a rise you want, but their trousers made in Italy have a lower rise than their trousers made in the US, just so you know. The sizing charts have more detail.

I believe Epaulet will also have some flannel, possibly even in their "rivet chino" fit, which has a lower rise than their Walt or Rudy.

Are HILTL trousers available in the US? If yes they would be a good alternative.

Would you see the difference between a flannel trouser with a tight and loose weave?
Lambswool Flannel Pants - Mid Gray
VBC Super 100s Winter Flannel - Light Gray

Keep in mind that the fit between the US and Italian made HY trousers is sufficiently different if you are on the fence. The lambswool would appear to have a more texture from the picture (I own them - quite nice).

I have a pair of light grey flannel trousers from Lands End that, for $50 w/coupon, are pretty hard to beat.

The pairs of flannel trousers I swear by are the PRL Preston pants made in Italy. Here is a pair for instance. I have them in a variety of colors and they are fantastic. Trim fit, flat front, unhemmed. I snap up every pair I can find in my size and have never paid more than $80 for a pair NWT.

Note BB trousers are made in Thailand now (v. Canada previously). I feel a little bit ripped off although the quality remains to be seen...
