Help needed (shoes to wear with grey suit)

Chaps,

Needing some help here; I read with careful consideration the most helpful article on job interview dress.

I've got a grey suit (not the best one in the world I know, I'm a student), but am struggling with shoe choice.

Article states that black shoes are best, which I would wholeheartedly agree with. However, only black ones I have are Barker Alfreds...a brogue.

Only other alternative is dark brown Ralph Lauren plain. As I'm colour blind, this makes things only more complicated.

Below are pictures of said items.

If you could advise, I would be most grateful.

Best,

JM

And some bad advice about black suits...

That’s the same reason many guys start out with the black suit. It looks good on everyone.

It’s safe. It’s modest. You can’t go wrong with a black suit. And that’s true!

But is that what you want out of your personal style? To wear something that every guy wears because it’s safe?

Ha. I've never heard of someone starting off with a black suit.
