Anyone here got any experience with the KMW2010s? As far as I can judge from the pics on Revolve they are bootcut, is that right? Can anyone tell me where exactly on my body I should measure my waist and how I should size them?

I would greatly appreciate any help

I have tried on a pair of 2010s at DenimBar (prior to Mauro leaving). The upper block fit is comparable to the KMW 1950, with maybe a smidge more room. The legs are obviously a bit tighter on the 1950 than the 2010. I ended up buying the 1950s.

I sized down two from my true size on the 1950 and I would have done the same if I had decided to purchase the 2010s. I am a true size 32 so I bought a size 30. Note that I do not like my jeans very tight; they are a big snug on me and I prefer to have a bit of room so adjust your expectations accordingly. Hope that helps.

So it sounds like most of you are not soaking these before wearing because they are sanfornized?

There's no real reason to soak them.

I always soak new jeans just to get some of the starch and creases out and help break them in. But, yeah, they aren't going to shrink with a soak.

Did you ever end up keeping the KMW? I am in the middle of a dilemma right now between a size 30 and a 31. The 30s are tight in the butt. It's a little too tight but they are brand new. The space above the back pocket is sticking out some. I am 5' 11" and 158lbs. Pretty fit. I wear a 29 in APC, which stretch out a ton. I also have a pair of 31s, brand new (i need to return one pair asap), and they are perfect, if they don't stretch. They have the same give everywhere that my blown out APC 29s do.

These are the black 1980. Will they stretch? WHich should I keep? The 30 or 31??

Thanks-

Stephen

they will stretch at least two inches in the waist if they are pretty snug to start.

Ahhhhhhh!

I have gotten so many different answers. I am keeping the 31s. They didn't feel like they'd stretch that much, the 30s. Sitting, I felt like my testicles were going to explode. Maybe it's a sign of aging, but I have no patience to spend hundreds of dollars on some jeans that may stretch anywhere from .5 - 2" in the waist, and god knows how little in the crucial-crotch area.

My reproductive organs trump fashion any day. Thanks for responding.

Just wondering how the waist fits you now (since your 7/2011 posting)? Has the waist stretched out? I just received a 1980 raw 33 x 34. I'm 5'11" and 161 lbs. 33W is my normal waist as levis's made and crafted 32w is slightly loose. Has your KMWs loosened up even more? Trying to decide if a 32W is more like the sizing I want in the long run. Thanks.

This. Mine stretched very little if any, I'd go with your actual waist rather than sizing down.
