$499 is a pretty decent price for a projector, but the biggest selling point of this projector for me is that they sell replacement bulbs for $30 as opposed to $300-400.

Now, I'm not expecting the quality that comes with $1000+ projectors. I just want to pick up something to put in my living room and connect to my computer so I can watch all the content of my hard drive on a big screen (in addition to the iTunes visualizer at parties - should be awesome).

It should be available for purchase this month. Thoughts?

They also sell a ceiling mount for $30, and screens for $60-80.

I dunno... Why not get a 720p projector for 1000 bucks? The lamp will last you years, and by the time it needs to be replaced you can replace the entire projector with a 1080p one. The resolution on that thing is crap. And I highly doubt it has the lumens to put up a decent image on a 108" screen like they're claiming. There are some really kickass projectors at the $1000 range and it's only a few hundred more.
