My new EG's came in... - Page 3

Lance, those shoes are so HOT. I don't know what I would wear them with but I'd love to have a pair like that and also one with a dark green insert. Awesome shoes man!!

Great shoes!! I hesitate to buy spectators, since I'm not sure I could pull them off. If I do buy a pair, I think my first pair will be a more subtle color combination, like dark oak and burnt pine. I'm not sure when I'd wear that color combination, though.

"a bit stacy-adams"? I'm too pissed to comment, I need 24 hours to cool down.

maybe a bit Kiton?

If someone had only described those to me I would have thought that I wouldn't like them but they look really great.

I like the mustard much better than the standard white for a show like that.

Very nice looking shoes by the way.

Yes. The store in Lubbock is Maloufs. http://www.maloufs.com Talk to Albert Hernandez. They don't have any in stock, of course, but he can order some for you. Saks in Dallas also can order them.

Good choice of soles. All those leather heels and soles are so brutal on my spine.

I live in L.A. but I have business in Dallas and I'm there about once a month. I'm in Lubbock...never. It's not really on the way to anywhere, even when I drive between Dallas and California.

That Saks in Dallas doesn't stock any "good" shoes. I think Prada and Gucci and some low end Ferragamo were all they had the last time I stopped by there. Stanley Korshak had Mantellassi, Cleverly, Lobb and others the last time I was there (Berluti maybe? some other Italian makes). No EG. Maybe they've started carrying them? The new Barney's at Northpark is stocking C&J and Berluti and some others.

FWIW, the Neiman-Marcus in Northpark will soon carry a small selection of John Lobb (they may have them by now).

Well, if you ever make it up to Northern CA, there's a Maloufs just outside of San Francisco, near the airport in Burlingame. I just stopped by there 2 weeks ago and saw some of the new EG shoes they had made up.

You can shop the NYC flagship (which has the best SFA shoe selection) from any Saks in the country.

This could be the SF Declaration of War! Love the EG's, too. Very interesting, and to say it stands out is an understatement.
