Levi 501 denim confusion

could someone please explain to me the difference between these 501 models:

The first link is made in the USA featuring Cone Mills denim. They ARE Selvedge and ARE NOT shrink to fit.

The second link is the original 501 STF, made in China. They ARE shrink to fit. and ARE NOT selvedge.

The third link is a new 501 made with selvedge. They ARE selvedge and ARE NOT shrink to fit. Also, they are just the standard denim, not Cone Mills or anything of the sort.

Great, thanks a lot. So does Levis simply not make a 501 selvedge srink-to-fit, then?

Yes, they do make them. Finding them in your size is another story. This is something of a unicorn. They make them, but they're only sold at stores now, and apparently the supply ebbs and flows. You'd have to check with a store to find out what they have.

when you say store, are you referring to a Levi's store? I have one nearby, so I'd be willing to follow up with them regarding these jeans, as you suggested. Do you know what the model name is, or is it literally just "501 Selvage Srink-To-Fit" or some such?

Yeah, a Levi's store. Call them and ask if they have the 501 shrink to fits in selvedge in. If that doesn't work (because these people aren't the brightest of bulbs) then call customer service and get the item number so you can call back and help them out.
