The soles are definitely more sturdy. My Socchi's have held up really well after basically daily wear for the last 2 winters.
Fwiw size down half on the sfb's. I'm a 12 but take 11.5 in them.

yea I noticed that when I tried some on at the outlet last month. The heel felt a little different too compared to the regular chukkas.

Nearly bought them for $69 but had told stop myself since I already picked up my limit for the month haha.

FK Racers FSR @ MrP

Also got to try the new Zoom Speed Trainer 3 and the shoe looks pretty promising as an all around workout shoe. It also looks very good in person.

I wonder how useful the FK sneaker boots are in the wet.

I believe they're waterproof so probably very useful?

Hmm...

I just googled them, it says weather proof, I'm looking for some pre-winter shoes. I had originally looked at Asics goretex's, but they felt cheap.

Nike has a couple of nice waterproof/weatherproof boots along with a plethora of "sneakerboots". AM90s and AM95s got some weatherproof treatments along with some AF1 duckboots.

The Zoom Kynsi Jacquards kind of cool and I'd buy one if it ever snowed in my area.

I'd be cool if they make an Air Trainer SC 2 sneakerboot

I've looked at the AM90.

The AF1 duck boots from last year, were pretty cool.

The timberland x Publish could be an option to.

Those lunar force duck boots are dope. The all black with the gum sole. I would have bought a pair of I didn't already grab the Footscape routes but still might pick them up since they are more "normal" looking.

On another note, how hard are the flax highs going to be to grab? They are already on eBay for like $190 which I don't mind paying but obv id rather only pay the $149 retail.

I looked at the british tan ones, when they came out and forgot about them.

Those are still around at retail. For whatever reason the black ones appeal to me a lot but I don't like the other colors at all, they remind me of all the bad parts of old ACG.

They were released a month ago and the red ones were release for halloween.

I don't wear black, so the black ones are not for me.

I use them for after snowboarding because theyre just supremely comfortable. They shed a little water but are not waterproof. I learned the hard way stepping in a slush puddle...
