I do want to try Adidas' TechFit recovery compression clothes, suppose to help with minimizing soreness to muscles, not sure how effective it really is though.

Having tried many different compression garments, have to say my favorites are Nike by far - in fit and feel.

Adidas TechFit stuff is really interesting though. I enjoy reading the "science" enclosed in the packages, but more than anything it's a mental edge for me - feeling "locked in," and whatnot. When I wear my techfit top while working out (complete w/ pseudo-brastraps) I do feel more solid across my back and chest. It's worth a try, but really hard to determine marketing from reality.

Plus, you can snag a Nike compression top from Ross easily for 12 bucks. Techfit runs up to 40 from what I remember.

Just ordered the electric green flyknits. Pumped. Was debating between blue/green and solid, but the former were sold out in my size. Therefore easy decision. biggrin.gif

flyknits seem like they were just made to be in loud colors. i was skeptical about my oranges at the start but now i embrace them. they also look better once you get them a little dirty

It's a cool color, much greener in person than the pics on nike.com indicate.

Heattech underneath makes these sweats fit so much better.

So dudes, post photos of your Nike x UC. Let's see. I think only 1 person did

Just in case anyone is still looking for that Gyakosou stuff, I noticed a bunch that went up for sale on nike.com. All sizes available, even those for those cool leaf print shorts.

ya but prices are astronomical

ndc has a dope wool/drifit running shirt i'm considering copping but don't like any of the colors enough, also want some neon green tees or tanks so I could be like synthese

I had one. It's really good. I ended up returning it and bought an Icebreaker one instead though because Icebreaker has slimmer shoulder which fit me better. 100% wool too!

+ Was going to swoop the SS gyakusou for my gf but then I realized that regular nikes and Asics for women are already good enough..

Question: I've downloaded the Nike+ running app to my iphone (new Iphone user...) - what purpose does the small chip Nike sells in its stores to place in NIke+ shoes serve? Has the whole function of the thing just been app-ed now? If so, why are they still trying to charge for it?

Loving the running app though. Makes it that much easier to get out when its cold.

The chip is used with their running watches (it syncs in) and for iTouch, they have an adapter that connect to it and it acts like a pedometer. I have the Nike GPS watch so I don't need the chip but I use it anyways so that if my GPS watch loses reception/signal, the chip takes over and continues your run/distance calculation.

The iPhone app didn't used to be free either and the chip is just another option for those who do not want to run with an iPhone (I hate it, I just listen to my shuffle) or to those that owns another phone (I believe there is an Android app now as well).

So what is the general consensus for sizing of the Flyknit Trainers?
If I wear a size 9 in the Free Runs should I get the 8.5 or 9?

Thx.
