I know, Nil. Id post that SI cover of the kid getting killed for his pair in 88 or so but I'm on mobile.

But now it's at a new height. You have kids bringing in stuff to sell and trade that are worth in the 5 digit range. That's lunch meat to the bad guys.

Sneakers were never worth that much in my days. They are now the modern day Pokemon cards or Beanie Babies.

It got ugly a year or two ago. Buying anything is comically difficult now. With that said I've taken advantage of the bubble and sold the 15 pairs I bought last year. I only have one left to unload.

West Hollywood...the west side is the affluent side of LA though. It's not like it's Slauson or anything.

Unless it was hood back in the day.

Just off Wilshire, our main intersection was Western. Just a few blocks east of where Crenshaw blvd begins. I don't think it was "hood" in the way you mean, but it was pretty shitty. Enough so everyone knew that kids were getting killed over these sneakers

Gotcha. More or less Ktown. I thought you meant farther down where the hipsters are. Lol.

You're probably 9.5 or even 10

+1. I usually take a US10 and I bought a 10.5 in the flyknits and I could even have gone up to an 11.

I find that if you're going to wear them sockless, sizing up 0.5 is fine. If you're going to be wearing athletic socks, sizing up one full size will result in the best fit, based on my experience.

Would be nice if they had laces. I haven't went laceless since I was an infant.

I usually go up .5 for sneakers from my brannock size. so 9 brannock to 9.5 sneakers. At this rate going up 1 full size to account for socks, I'll be wearing 10.5. Is that how it goes for flyknit models that are meant to be worn sockless?

No mods are supposed to be worn sockless. The Flyknit Frees came with socks too.

I take a 9 in most Nikes and I go with 10.5 in Frees and Flyknits because I wear thicker socks to run. 10 would've been ok for leisure wears and thinner socks.

On the other hand, whats the deal the Tech Fleece Shorts and shirts? Can they be found anywhere. Pops copped some while in NY and didn't bother to tell me. #asshole

If you're in Houston, Lukes Locker (West Gray) has Flyknit trainers for 49.99.

tech shirts are at End now in grey and blue.
