It's been here since the early 2000s with the SBs, my man. I had a couple of friends who used reselling to pay for their college tuition, and/or cars.

I thought one of the dudes I knew was doing it when he cashed out and used the money to buy an E46 M3 in full. This was around in the mid 2000s. The M3 is the official car of sneakerheads, just like how Wu Tang is the official music choice for them..lol.

It's nothing new...supply and demand.

I know it isn't new. You have the guys who are essentially professional resellers, but with social media taking off the way it has and hype rising to previously unseen levels, every kid with a debit card and smartphone is sitting by and waiting to jump on any size of any new release just to flip them for even minuscule profits.

I hear that! Copped SBs on Active and a skate shop in Seattle to make some college food money... Then the Heineken joints blew it all up.

This might be reason enough to sell my M3, even though mine isn't an E46.

Jet, do you still have yours? lol8[1].gif

Spoo funded his Ferrari being in the reselling game. But like any other game, playa's gotta hustle.

Yeah, I read and congratulated Spoo when I saw that. He dropped hints that he was saving his pennies for it. He has a team, correct me if I'm wrong. The story is still fascinating to me. I tried thrifting a handful of time from the valley to the west side. L.A. market sucks! lol.

We were barely 21 when we were flipping kicks. A kid around that age buying a $60-70k car and paid in full was an eye popping thing, well at least to me.

The whole hype in the sneaker culture...I refuse to call it 'game' is why businesses like Flight Club and Rif are so viable. I hear kids talking about maxing out credit cards to buy a pair of Red October Yeezys, which go for $5k on the market currently. These shoes retailed for ~$200 or so, so profit is very handsome.

I've been thinking about this for a while, and to avoid having an obscene amount of kicks once again, I put up the 15 or so pairs of Jordans/Nikes I bought in the last year for sale. Looks like I'll broke even, even though most were worn.

Ain't no problem driving an M3 lowered on KW's with some aggressive offset BBS LM's while rocking OG Jordan IVs and bumping 36 Chambers, player.

Black Foams are ill.

Good luck trying to cop those Foams. Supremes clothing already sells out within minutes if not seconds, lol. I. Can't even fathom paying that much money or worse yet, over retail for the gear.

Resellers will be out in full force nike doesn't get Supreme collabs. Word is line in NY has started already. lol. Dudes are crack heads.
