Really? Dang. I didn't know it was that costly. Yeah I heard they kill the mold each time.

Speaking of Foams, a lot of hype on the "Yeezy" Foams. They look nice but the sole should've been smoked, black or red.

This seller has a pair at retail:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-NIKE-LUNAR-TERRA-ARKTOS-BLACK-BOOTS-SNEAKERS-RETRO-ORIGINAL-SB-616179-040-/331059452088

It took me some time to come around to them, but the Lunarterra Artkos boots are awesome. Super comfortable, light for their size, waterproof, and with lots of traction on the sole. Perfect for tromping through snow and slush. I do wish I'd seen that bamboo makeup first, though.

Like you said most retros were $160. The 13s were $170 and 11s were $180 or 185 , can't recall.

The 13s retailed for $150 so that's not bad at all. The 11s were $125 so the jump is kinda big but all 11s sell.

I think $200 will be msrp for retros by 2020 if the Beanie Babies level hype still exists.

My very first purchase with my own money was 1997 white/black "he got game" 13s in a silver box..and they were $110.

I dont remember exactly if the 11's was $125 or $110 as well..The 11's never sold out, concords, space jams, breds and all the low top 11's sat on shelves for a while...I will not forget it because I had to bust my ass in a restaurant coming up with cash for the Space Jam...after a week...i bought them..

Sadly..MSRP on retros will be $200 sooner than 2020..Currently the 11s after tax is $202, Lebrons are $272 after tax and the same goes for the foamposites...

The Lebron 11 retails for $200.

Did you get those 13s on sale or were they not a mens size?

I refuse to call these shoes what the kids call them..'bred', 'he got game', etc (not a shot at you or anything). Some dudes trying to call the Laneys the 'best buys' too frown.gif

The retro 11s that dropped in 2001 sold out. That was the first time I heard of lining up. They stopped with Wednesday releases because kids would skip school completely.

I wanted the 13s so bad, but never got them. $150 for kicks were too much for mom to buy. Didn't have real Jordans until the 15s in the 9th grade.

I agree with you on the name calling them I dont like them as well. If I describe colorway white/black or black/white people would think its the playoff XIII or confused with another shoe. The XIII was men size 10. Didnt get it on sale. Got it at Modells. ill dig up the box if it still have the price tag on it...

But bred have been that name as far back as the retro XI in the early 2000s as I recall it and yes I do remember Wednesday releases....I wish they would release on Wednesdays again and have the cops picking up the kids for cutting school again..lol.

I stopped after 14s and only picked up the Blk/red 16s and the cherrywood as well as the wizard 17s with metal case.

Chet, or anyone with a pair, could you help with sizing on the arktos? Take your FK size or did you size up 0.5? I am thinking the latter, to wear thick socks, but curious to hear your recommendations - TIA!

oh look who's on the arktos wagon now! you gonna wear those while waterskiing in florida with your lange strapped to your wrist?!!

I need to go to NYC and London this winter and am very ill-prepared for the weather...footwear options-wise. Even if I get two weeks of wear out of a pair for the year, it would be worth it

Normal size. I tried sizing down because I thought they might run large, but they fit true to size.
