yeah those 17s were dope. Totally hear you about the $200 price tag and that's prolly why they sat on the shelves at Champs. Before that the Foamposites changed the game at $180.

i had the og foams and one day i looked at them and realized how hideous they were, damn comfortable at the time though

element shield jacket got marked down to 94, i'd probably cop on further discount but the loden one which i was thinking of didn't get discounted for some reason

poncho and cape are so good for wimminz

That was when sneaker buying was at its purist form. No one lined up for anything and everything eventually made it to a sale. You just buy what you like.

I think these joints were the original game changer. Retail was $160, which was more than the Jordans, and Foamposites weren't out yet.

in 88 i think it was, there were these air crosstrainers of some type can't remember the name but they were white with pink or infrared that i wanted so bad i literally thought of them every day and this one kid always had the freshest kicks including those

i imagined how comfy they were all the time redface.gif

Jet, I think you're taking about these:

That was Pippens joints for the 96 Olympics. I think they were like $130 or 140. The one I posted was the shoe he wore the following season.

I had to cop them when they got retroed because I never got them in the 5th grade.

Those were another game changer. Uptempos Fall of 96 and the foams were spring of 97 when Jason Terry helped AZ win the national title.

Fond memories of the More Uptempos.. Shoes I wore when I first grabbed the rim. Oh wow.. memory lane.

I wish I picked these up when they were on heavy discount. Favorite Pennys of all time. Prices are outrageous nowadays. By the look of how they kept the Penny line going until today, I think they will do the same with Kobe and Lebron. Man, I don't even know how this sector will look like in 20 years with all of the re-retros and new lines for up and coming stars.

All of the colorways for that shoe were nice..the Wizards, black/silver, red/white, etc.

Probably the last non retro Js that looked good to me.

it stops after XVI....anything else was after was terrible.
