Flyknits for the fall in Seattle is akin to putting summer tires on your Ferrari for winter in Utah.

Yeah, I believe the Nike App on the iPhone (also available on Android now iirc) is free and you can use it with any other shoe really. I like the GPS watch because it comes with a shoe pod sensor so when I lose reception it continues tracking my run. I can also connect the watch to a heart rate monitor if I wanted to. There have also been morning where the GPS could not lock in a signal so I had to rely recording my whole run via shoe pod. I have heard others having the same problem with the Iphone App and they are stuck running w/o it, can't really complain much since its free now. I believe the Ipod Nano has a pedometer built in that can connect with NikePlus too, not sure if it had to be connected to the Nike shoe pod though but since it's free now, it's hard to complain about it.

It can be so frustrating living in Canada when it comes to online shopping... Nike doesn't have an online store for us (don't know why...) so I can either pay resell value on ebay, plus shipping and duties (~$250), or I can use a reshipping service which would end up to be ~$200 and pray I don't get hit with duty (already know I will).

meanwhile in the US... $150 off nike.com with free shipping. censored.gif

so I guess in other words im not gonna cop those fucking flyknits...

Just received my Flyknit Trainer+ shoes and threw them on. I went TTS US 10 and they feel pretty tight, big toe pokes out a bit at the side but doesn't go all the way to the top by maybe 1/4". How much do these stretch? Are they supposed to fit pretty tight right out of the box?

If they don't fit out of the box, I wouldn't keep them.

Has anyone heard anything about the lunar terra arktos being re-released in black at some point?

Yes. This one (6th gen) already; no shoe pod needed:
