Unless you're a real weekend warrior, you probably can't feel the difference. I'm currently using high tops again (KD V) after being on the Kobes for years. I cannot wait to trash the KDs so I can go back to low tops. I like the Kobes the best for mobility and comfort. The KDs sit too low and are too stiff for my taste.

The Lebrons are nice too, but they're too heavy for my taste. They also feel too bulky.

In addition to the change in height, the Air Max 90 SneakerBoot also comes with a neoprene inner bootie and a Hyperfuse upper. The Air Max 90 SneakerBoot collection is set to reach select retailers in October.

I can only play once a month these days, but I used to play twice a week before. There is definitely a difference in responsiveness between zoom and lunar. Kobes have been my ballin shoes since the iv's, but I prefer the vi to the current version with lunar. I haven't tried the zoom version of the viii's. If you have no fear of lowtops, then I would go with the kobes. I hated the kd V due to the stitched down tongue. It was just so uncomfortable to play in. If you can afford a pair of jordan xiii's, those were my favorite all around ballin shoe. Great ankle support and fit. The traction was not amazing, but it was good on clean floors.

Recommendations for non-flashy, blacktop kicks with significant ankle support without feeling overly bulky?

Thanks guys...got Hyperdunks since my knees will probably blow out before my shoes.

Tech Pack restock is up on Nike.com.

Edit: The hoodie, at least. Just checked the track jacket, which is still sold out. Didn't check other items since I'm on my phone.

Pants are still sold out.

Yeah, looks like it's just the hoodie, Wind Runner, and crew neck that got restocked.

Hey guys. Never really post on forums. Been lurking for a grip. Thought I'd start to share. The Tech Pack pants restocked (at least in the gray) this morning and yesterday morning. It's been selling so quick. I missed out yesterday, but got my Large this morning.

I loved the Kobe 4s as well. I was skeptical at first since those were the first lows. The Jordan 13s are indeed comfy but not worth for balling because the price on secondary market is easily over $200 and retros are for casual wearing now sadly.

I'm waiting for the Kobe 8s to go on deep discount before picking a pair up. I think they're doing a mid for the 9s with Flyknit material.

These are a bit better, but not wow, I would consider the middle pair.
