i got some mud on my flyknit lunar ones (volt color). do you think it's ok to toss these in the washing machine or should i just try to hand wash? either case I would let them air dry.
i saw on the nike website it says to not put them in the washing machine but it doesn't give any reason why...

didn't realize they reissued these - my favorite non-Jordan vintage model besides the Air Max OG's

I think I saw a post from someone that said they got caught wearing them in the rain. Said they were like a different shoe after that. So I would try to spot clean if you can.

You can throw them in the wash. In a pillowcase, on gentle, is the preferred technique.

I really know nothing about the soles, so here's asking: Which is more comfortable, the Lunar sole or the Free sole?  Which is better for actual athletic pursuits? I don't really run, I do elliptical/lift for my exercise.

They retail for $110, man. http://www.finishline.com/store/catalog/product.jsp?productId=prod723820

Some sites have them listen as "Infrared" but that's just to attract customers. The actual color is "Atomic Red" which is super close to infrared.

I dunno: http://www.43einhalb.com/nike-air-max-90-essential-schwarz-infrared-23698

That was the link in the article. I wouldn't buy so didn't bother searching around.
