Isn't that armband just a place to put your iphone when you run to keep it dry? I've considered it but I am not sold on it yet, let me know how it goes if you get it.

from what i can see the training programs on the app seem to be heavy on the HIIT and plyometrics (and celebrity endorsers). they were as expensive as fuck so this better be worth it
btw if this is more of a style thread than a training thread, sorry for the threadjack.
This was tempting to me too but the more I look at it, it becomes more of a novelty, especially the basketball version. It seems strictly made for serious athletes who needs to measure every nano-seconds of their performance. Like the basketball version for example, it measures how high you jump but most do not really need to know that you can jump a quarter of an inch higher on a good day than on a bad day, or how fast you can sprint from one end of the court to the other. I do HIIT and Plyo and really I can just push myself to do more or until I am really exhausted. It's good that it keeps track of it on your phone and you can have records but I never really felt the need to track how many jump squats I could do or how many burpees it took to completely kill me. At the moment, the current features isn't as impressive and doesn't seem worth it but that is me though, others may enjoy it and find it useful. It is similar tot he Nike Fuel band that gives you Fuel Points for tracking your movements but it really does nothing else. I guess it's good if you don't have a watch and you it can do double duty in that regard.
All personal opinion though, let me know if you like it or find other features I may have missed that is important.
I do use Nike+ system for running, the gps watch is amazing. It actually records my runs on the map by pace and even elevation. I hiked Mt. Baldy and it showed how fast and slow I was and how much elevation I was in during which time. I also get to have fun with a community by having challenges on Nikeplus.com, we have groups and we race to a certain amount of miles. It's an extra incentive for running.

The salesman tried really hard to dissuade me, saying they weren't really good for anything in particular, and I went home without them.
After thinking about them for three hours, I drove back and demanded them - good thing I did, because they were the last pair in my size. They're super, super comfy, and while I probably won't be running in them, I think I'll be wearing them a ton, because I have recently realized that most of the shoes I own are a size too small for me. Really dumb.
Anyway, I think these are too fucking cool, so I took a picture and they're SO ORANGE it's like I am wearing space tang shoes on my feet. Would not hesitate to buy again, but I remembered nike sneakers being like 60$ and these were 150$, which was a little surprising.
(I also tried on the free 3.0 v4 - how the fuck do you guys keep these things straight? - and thought they were awesome, so I may custom-order some of those in a fun color, because all they had where I live is red and grey. Yuck.)
Damn, I wish I could walk to a store and see the flyknits just sitting there. Orange does look pretty nice too, after running in my volt Pegasu29, the bright color doesn't bother me as much when doing something active. Not sure I can pull it off casually though, would love to see a fit Synth, always been a fan of your style, even if it is just for sitting around or running errands.
