edit: also, those free 5.0s are apparently like "Chinese finger traps for your feet"

Wait so they admit that the Fly's are cheaper to make than the $95 pair, yet the Fly's are $150.

But you have to put into account the r&d on the machine and the machine that does the knitting themselves, I read somewhere that there are less than a handful of those machines in the world that does the knitting and it is still quite expensive to operate.

I think as time goes on, Flyknit will be cheaper and the market is getting a bit flooded so it'll start hitting sales and outlets. FK trainers are already showing up in outlets for ~$100 now too, just have to be lucky to find it. I'm waiting on the Lunar1+ to hit the sales rack.

^ I also suspect that's what will happen with the FK Lunars and the Frees that are coming out. Trainers/Chukkas/Racers will always hold their value, however.

Sorry for being a lazy bugger, but I'm at a lab so I can't actively use internet. Do you know what happened to Adidas knit-tech or whatever lawsuit?

Nike has a temporary injunction against them, at least in the U.S. Last I heard, they're moving for a permanent one.

Has anyone seen the grey Racers live in the flesh? If so, how do they look? Debating on purchasing them but they seem too muted for me.

Yeah, thats why I said I understand it.

Its crazy they admit this so early. While some people understand the business, a lot of consumer are oblivious.

Blah - I ordered a pair of red Racers to run in. I guess I'll pass on these.

Where did you see them?

Hopefully Nike puts out the white Racers as well. I'm not sure why they don't release more colours to be honest. They're the dopest Flyknit in my opinion.
